依首张精选辑的收歌惯例，U2合唱团11月5号即将面市的最新精选大碟“U2: The Best of 1990-2000”也将推出同时收录包括"Summer Rain"、"Your Blue Room"在内的14首B面单曲的限量盘。

限量盘的B面单曲特辑中有10首是混音版，包括Paul Oakenfold混音的"Even Better Than the Real Thing"，另一位红牌DJ William Orbit为精选辑的新歌"Electrical Storm"担任混音，而新歌的原始版本则将纳入B面单曲特辑中。U2最近刚与导演Anton Corbijn (拍过Metallica金属制品乐团、Depeche Mode流行尖端合唱团的音乐录像带)拍摄"Electrical Storm"的影带，影带邀请电影“关键报告”女主角Samantha Morton(莎蔓珊摩顿)饰演美人鱼。

搜录有"One"、"Mysterious Ways"、"Beautiful Day"等16首畅销曲的精选辑的另一首新作是"The Hands That Built America"，为了此张精选辑，葛莱美奖专辑“All That You Can't Leave Behind”的制作人Mike Hedges (制作过The Cure怪人合唱团的专辑)重新为"Discotheque"、"Gone"、"Numb"、"Staring At The Sun"等旧作加工。
